Day to day program
Day 1: Arrival and Warm-Up Run
Arrive at the starting point of your hut tour. Begin with a gentle warm-up run to get acclimated to the trails. Reach the first hut by late afternoon or early evening. We'll do some stretching, and Stefan will provide navigation tips during the evening for trail running. Enjoy a hearty dinner and rest up for the adventures ahead.
Day 2: Ridge day and Hut-to-Hut Run
Start early with a beautiful journey over stunning terrain. Descend to the next hut, enjoying a scenic hut-to-hut run along the way. Arrive at the second hut in time for lunch or an early afternoon break. Spend the rest of the day relaxing, exploring the surroundings, or taking optional shorter runs.
Day 3: Long Distance Challenge
Embark on a longer distance trail run, exploring diverse terrain and landscapes. Pass through mountain meadows and rocky ridges, soaking in the beauty of the wilderness. Reach the third hut by late afternoon, feeling accomplished and invigorated by the day's run. Enjoy a well-deserved dinner and share stories with fellow trail runners.
Day 4: Scenic Descent and Farewell Run
Start the day with a scenic descent from the third hut, relishing the views and downhill trails. Take one final farewell run before heading back to the valley. In the valley, we take the bus back to the starting point. Reflect on the memorable experiences and challenges overcome during the hut tour.
What can you expect?
Every day, guide Stefan takes you from hut to hut. He adjusts this route based on the group, but it’s at least 15km. Depending on the group, Stefan may choose to take a short walk after lunch (if you’ve already reached the next hut) or opt for a longer route from hut to hut. Stefan ensures that everyone looks back on the day feeling satisfied and good. A multi-day run isn’t just about reaching the next hut as quickly as possible but also about reaching it as fit as possible!
Where will you sleep?
You’ll be staying in a mountain hut on a half-board basis in a shared room with fellow trail runners. The huts have showers available, and you’ll receive breakfast and dinner there. We recommend packing your trail food in your bag, which will be transported from hut to hut for you.
